The Covarrubias Collection is an ongoing creative partnership between artist Jim Covarrubias and arts patron Ashley Harder. Together they have curated a body of work by Jim Covarrubias that spans his 40+ year painting career. The Collection reflects Covarrubias’ perspective of Arizona’s culture and history being of both Native American and Mexican descent and his work has been on display for more than two years at the Arizona State Capitol's Senate Building. Jim Covarrubias is a lifelong Arizonan, U.S. Army Veteran, and consummate visual storyteller of his heritage illustrating his deep reverence for the great state of Arizona.
